They have both disappeared off the radar at Saratoga, their horses don't have that extra oomph

One-eyed Kathy and Large Lungs Lois are angry at me for not having any "oomph" anymore but Pletch did OK at the Mountain today.
Saratoga is a tough place to lay your money. I remember working up there and replacing some bulbs and burnishing some relays out on the ancient tote board from the 1930s and not making it back to the computer room. The large gander out of the lake extended his wings and charged a bit but knew me as a fellow that was not going to rape his lady geese. FOURSTARDAVE was a good bet. I had no action on the race and watched it from the inside rail of the inner turf course. DAVE went by me on top by a bunch just by being shown the whip. I will always forget the rider but I heard him say, "Go Dave, go Dave." as they went by.

Levine, though has been MIA at the spa, but Levine IS the leading trainer at MON this year... Must be that nyra detention barn...

Ya think so Wooley?
I think there's been change in his numbers since the onset of last year's steroid ban. It wasn't long after--that I began to note a change in his percentages. And the change has followed throughout this year. As we know, for a good while, the man owned Saratoga, especially with his two year olds. Not anymore. Something's leveled the playing field.

It seems many trainers are winning at the "Spa" these days...including MOTT who I thought fell off the radar last year.

Bruce Levine is never a force at the Spa..He will win a race or two most likely for hometown Valente but he does not amp his horses up for the Spa meet. Has nothing to do with moronic accusations or innuendos of detention barns. Bruce uses the Spa to refresh his stock and to have a good time as well. Guy is honest and always has been..Find another to spook.

I can't believe that Now Pletcher is on the "Must Have Been a Cheater List " . Is there a successful trainer that isn't doping horses or cheating ? Did every Vet for Decades Look the other way in Testing of Winners AFTER a Race . As far Back as I can Remember Placed Horses went to the Test Barn ???
Bad enough we have to listen to these innuendoes in Football , Baseball Track , Swimming Now Racing
Why Don't we Just say They all Cheat and get it over with . Or Better Yet , Next time someone throws an innuendo in here we require them to go to the test barn before they get another Post . Surely Folks Labeling Everyone Cheaters Must Be on Drugs .
I think the Racing Officials , the Stewards and the Associations are doing a Great Job and really Don't need the Rest of Us Questioning Everything .
My two Cents

Except for your much adored NYRA I never Question Steward Decisions or Drug Testing . Been something NYRA did well for decades . I question Management whose only Answer to quality racing is SLOTS PLEASE, who do nothing to explain failure other than pointing Fingers at others and Have Lost Millions Annually with the Best Racing Product in America . Any True Fan should be doing the same. These Clowns get no Pass in My Book .
