Thanks to all who wished the filly well...she ran a tremendous race and gave her all..the big difference between the 2 results was racing luck..She was hurt by a bad start bad not terrible and than when it mattered most the racing gods opted for someone else..She was the best filly in the race..When the hole opened her ears pricked and she took off..Maragh in hindsight goes righthanded and she wins the race..As luck would have it he hit her left and carried her out..she felt the other filly and dicked more..Two jumps past the wire and she was in front by two...She is really an awesome filly who will only get better...she is wicked good.

Thanks for coming on and making a statement. I wish the filly well, and still love her. But some are seeking a fine to the jock, thoughts?

The jock made a judgement..When you are in the 10 path your not expecting someone in the 12 path..he hit the filly left (boy I wish it was righty) but he never thought there was someone moving as fast as he was outside of him..Noway the outside filly beats her on a stright path but the world is always looking for excuses...Hindsight is 20 20...One great ride one not so great.

The replay is a sad sight, Maybe the jock just couldn't do anything about it?

Where does she go next?

Great question...She has had two very tough races in the past month and deserves some time off. She will probably head to Fla for the winter..NY is tough even on Canadian broads...Next race could be 3 months away most likely Kentucky.

Maybe although it really is rare to have a horse on your outside shoulder coming as quickly as you when you are in the 10 path...SHe is a pretty automatic filly she sees the hole and goes..Jock gets a bit lazy and the rest is history...The filly should have won the damn race..Can we sue the jock?? LOL.

Too bad about Negligee. Bad luck and not so great a ride.
She'll go on to fight another day. Very nice filly.

Question is the Amanda J Casey of Sovereign the SAME Amanda J Casey, the bug jock who was recently hurt?
