Vincent "Jimmy" Riggio (the guy that went crashing into a basement at the Park Place OTB) isn't the only thing "in the hole" at NYC OTB. This article appeared yesterday in the New York Daily News. I wouldn't expect the state to do anything soon. The state of New York is insolvent and sees the city OTB as par for the course and a good deal for providing patronage hacks with 6-figure salaries, expense accounts, and cars. http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/200 ... apoli.html |
