We're still plagued by terribly short fields and the 6X5 early DD matrix before scratches certainly stinks but at least the lawn is open even though I have no idea why one race got tossed off a course that hasn't been used in five months. It's not like there's a turf stakes on for tomorrow. As a matter of fact the only grass race on the Wood card is a claimer for the getaway race.

Speaking of tomorrow, out of ten dirt races the Wood is the only one going two turns.

For races involving fillies and mares the dude ought to be yelling, "Elles sont partie!"
