There's not a lot of 9-furlong form with this group and that's a shame for older horses but nowadays many folks consider 9 furlongs to be a "marathon" when races at this distance used to be an everyday event.
I look for early pace in these things and ALL IN NO OUTS and STEALTH MISSILE fit the bill but the MISSILE has been fizzling off the claim by Terracciano.
THE ROUNDHOUSE is a winner at the distance and the figs are ascending nicely through his last three starts.
Nobody ever knows on what day FRENCH TRANSITION will fire. I decided a long time that this son of GIANT'S CAUSEWAY is a head case with some ability. You just can't figure out when he's going to show the A-game.

My transmission is continually stuck on The Roundhouse. You'll almost always get decent odds and he's about the only horse that Abel Lezcano has gotten to know inside/out. It's all about timing with this runner. Merlin Bay finally got it done last out and I regard that kid Pedroza as having the most self-control among the NY bugs. Trainers who comprise the Kool Aid Konglomerate are all over this card and can no longer be ignored.

Action Jackson just phoned. He wants me to gear up and go on his next mission with him.
