Thanks, Rocketman. We're both old Brooklyn guys out of the 1940s that have seen some better racing.
But as players we work the cards and try to make something happen. And it ain't easy when you have more fingers on one hand than the number of horses that are loading in some of these races.
I bit my lip this morning and made a commitment to play my New York "home track" that I first visited when I was 12.
