A change in surface, the drop and the cutback all bode well for JEANNE'S SPEIGHT. She's out in Canarasie with only one inside scratch but she has the speed to clear and control the tempo. The rider change to Maragh is a plus. DIAL M FOR MUGS took cash in her second start and was a better fourth than what it looks like on paper. Gets a real rider today and figures to have good position off the turn for the run to glory. I may be dabbling with some bombers here on the horizontal wagers and you just know that I am in love with MAMA'S RED HAT (32/0/7/3). |

I just walked by a huge tomcat sound asleep in my TV room upon my recliner to go downstairs to bring in the mail and grab a beer. I'm just lucky that he shares his territory with me. Only the #10 JEANNE'S SPEIGHT can get my P3 by Leg 2. DD: 4-10/4-5 DD: 6/4-5-11 P3: 4-10/4-5-7-11/1 ExBx: 10/6-9 |

My handicapping isn't bad today but matching things on a ticket isn't working and it's got me in the red so far. JEANNE'S SPEIGHT was severely compromised by trying to bite a cloud on the break. Even on the wide sweeping turns over Big Sandy a trip from out in Canarsie can get the best horse in a race beaten. She needed to get out and "get over" to save some ground. |
