I'm hoping the morning line is the way the players wager this race. I think 11.Swagger Jack looks like a winner in this NW1X race. His last race was a pretty decent effort and he did not have a good trip at all. He broke dead last and as they got to the first turn he was being rushed wide to make up ground. He raced wide all the way around the track while making a 3-4 wide move on the turn to reach 2nd. Then he was bothered in the lane by the eventual 3rd place finisher which probably caused him a 3rd place finish.
Garrett Gomez rides today so that looks like a positive. The outside post is the only concern I have. 6-1 odds look pretty good to me.

Horse refused to switch leads again. Was dead wrong on this one. Maybe turf is where this runner belongs.
