On Friday I was only able to pick small insects off my groin with any success while playing Belmont and Pimlico so I will turn the floor over to smarter people than me.

Have at it Syndicate - we have $200.00 in the kick but maybe we'll catch some more tumblers this evening via PayPal and lalavey@hotmail.com

I'm looking forward to this. I have no predisposition with regards to how the roll is invested.....vis a vis which races to invest in. Ill pretty much go along with the gang on that.

On Derby Day the gang was mostly "not here". A lot of great action took off nevertheless with not a lot of input. We caught a $23 Lump, a $43 Derby winner (Cice), and one other thing that paid sweetly but we fell short on the matchups. The entire card is open as far as I am concerned but I'm just a small fart in a handicapping whirlwind.

Here's a few runners, but I'm heading off to work shortly. Do as you wish...

Race 4: #2 Payton d'Oro has more gaps than a hillbilly's teeth, but Jones may have this one ready for a big effort, especially if Life At Ten is still not back to her old self.

Race 6: #1 Ghost Is Clear may sit a dream trip behind the pace and catch an opening on the rail late in the Chick Lang.

Race 7: #1 Master Dunker runs down the favorite in here, and the switch to Dominguez is key.

Race 8: Don't trust Ventana, but think #7 China is better than some of the others here.

Race 9: #7 Desert Sage could get Chad a big win here. Good to see Leparoux aboard.

Race 10: #3 Eighttofasttocatch represents the locals well here and is value.

Race 12: Dialed In is in it to win the bonus. I think he gets the trip here.

Again, do as you wish.

Our baby shower later today, I'll be following via the blackberry. I would say 50 cent P5 the way to go with majority of funds. Yesterday's paid $700, and there wasn't a winner higher than 9-2 in the sequence. You're not going to beat Paddy O'Prado, but the other 2 zip to fives (Ventana and shared account) are both vulnerable.

Race 8 - Have to use Ventana but he's no lock. Nathan's HQ is one of many speeds lined up here but is game as can be. Safety Check could stalk and pounce. Same with China.

Race 9 - Have to cover with Shared Account, but Chad's horse Desert Sage super live. Didn't run big figs at GP but those races were very impressive visually. I would also use Dyna Waltz, and possibly No Explaining.

Race 10 - Tons of speed loaded up in here too which should set it up for Apart, but he has a bit of hanger in him. Researcher looking to regain form and if he does, watch out, especially with Ramon up at his old stomping grounds. ICABAD CRANE should sit a good trip too. Don't toss No Advantage who is 2-for-2 in exacta at PIM and 4-for-6 in exacta at the trip

Race 11 - Paddy just lays over these even if he's only 80 percent

Race 12 - I think Animal Kingdom is a solid choice. But since I was all over Dialed In in the Derby...I'd hate to have him beat me. I think Dance City has the best chance to update.

The P5 ticket I'll probably play, in some variation: 3-5-7-8/6-7-8/1-2-4-5-7-8/4/10-11. $72 ticket

Here we go. QP do as you please, but looking over the syndicate's picks, it appears they agree with me on Master Dunker (7), Desert Sage (9), Paddy O Prado (11) and for the main event Dialed In and Dance City. That r9 pick 4 is looking quite interesting! Lets get it!

1. Devilish Gait
2. Joel's Touch , Heavenstmurgatroid, No Brakes
3. Cove Star, Wingo Star
(let the stars shine)
4. Pletcher’s uncoupled entry
5. Toni's the Won
6. Escort, Vengeful Wildcat
7. Master Dunker
8. China, Safety Check
9. Desert Sage
(Go Chad)
10. Colizeo
11. Paddy O'Prado
12. Dialed In, Astrology, Sway Away, Dance City
(AK and Macho Man (RIP Randy Savage) will get overbet)

I'm still having my coffee and shaking off the cobwebs. I hope a few will be around today. The strength of this crew, it seems to me, is handicapping races as the day moves forward. Ill be taking a look at the first few races to see how the courses are playing before submitting any of my nearly incoherent thoughts.

I'd really like to hear about some wagers. If I start to cherry pick horses that folks like to build some bets not everybody is going to be happy. Somebody's runner is going to be left out and when it blows up the tote I don't want to hear it.

Are we liking the 50 cent P5 and P4 idea?
