I understand that all the sharpies will be with LONGHAMMER but Chad's BIG BLUE KITTEN hasn't done much wrong through a 3-race career so far. JV takes the mount and that's good enough for me to cover.

Grassman Tagg's PLEAD has some gaps in the run lines but Barclay seems to have this horse figured out and runs him up here from Deli Wear where this guy has been working nicely. The figs have been progressing upward. Do not ignore.

John Velazquez doesn't ride for Chad that often. Last I recall covering this J/T combo was last summer at Saratoga: Payout came off a layoff looking to break his maiden, opened at 1-9, went off at 2-5, and folded like a wet noodle. I had my ass handed to me that day.

True Linnet continues to impress; fourth race of current form cycle and a juicy 13-1 currently. The win last out saw Abel Lezcano boldly thread a needle, a place he'd never gone to before.

Difficult field to gauge.

My wife has always told me that I never had a LONGHAMMER but that horse and BIG BLUE KITTEN finish a Pick 3 for me.

LONGHAMMER and PLEAD carry on a Pick 3.

The 1/3/4 finish double action.

This is a wide-open grasser and I hope you're laughing through the action like I am.

More pussy for me with the BIG BLUE KITTEN!

The DD and P3 land but I could have sworn, even on the slo-mo, that the Bomb Lump caught the bob.

A tip of the cap to Chad - he had the KITTEN ready.

Can't get much closer than that. Ding-dong battle between JV and Prado like the old days when these two completed exactas so often. I wondered about Larry Murray shipping up from Maryland and employing Edgar - must have had J/T relationship when Edgar dominated down there before moving to NY.

Chad usually has them ready and this one had "kitten" in the name  ; unfortunately, the public is all over Chad now, but that exacta and triple were well worth the ALL button.....you takes your chances. I passed. Got a feeling someone upstate had this race covered for a profit though. ;)
