I once got frisky with my wife in a brand new 1973 MONTE CARLO.

That horse should be able to handle these unless HOT MINUTE rolls away from the break and catches reasonable splits.

P3: 2/1-3/6-8

P3: 2-6-7/3/6

ExBx: 2/6

ARTIE couldn't hold the place at a number but in this shit short field the 2/6 was only coming back $24.

The account is up and I have multiple Pick 3s in action with the monster $3.90 winner but this racing is horrendous.

But as fan of New York racing for more than 50 years and as a Brooklyn-bred Flatbush guy I keep thinking about an expression I first heard as a small lad, "You dance with the girl what brung you."

As a ballplayer in high school, as a Marine, as a young husband, as a hard-charging working man, and now into my years beyond my prime I always understood the message - you deal with the shit that gets laid out in your path or you catch guaranteed failure. That expression means no insult to women - Jeez, if I didn't have my girl for 38 years I'd be in the National Cemetery now or living under an overpass.
