I know, I hear it every year now: "They're saving their horses for Saratoga."
By God! There's a field of ten here! Saratoga must have burned down this morning - there are some HORSES in this contest!

That 3-4 winner in Race 7 didn't help the P4, so I'll just sort of play the numbers I went with in the fitty wager and not get cute. Actually, Race 10 has me scratching my head the most. Saw the effusive Roy Lerman had an entry here and felt I had to cover. A lot of players discard Tampa turf runners, but Roy loves speed and #3 Grandma may try to wire this field from a good post. My Man Nell just kind of stood out; the win pool is lukewarm early, but the Graham Motion filly was pounded in doubles. Motion/Prado used to be all the rage. #9 Bretton Woods is Weaver and if this trainer is going to fire again today, this is the one. I almost always cover George, though I left him out of the last heat. ex box....3-6-9

Have decided to take a stand and boxed the 3-6-9 in a triple, too.

I worried about Lisa Lewis' runner making waves. The two bugs complete a nice exacta. Was Cornholio trying to rate Lerman's filly? - kind of got bottled up in deep stretch attempting to make a move. I don't know what to say about Edgar Prado. Never been the same since Barbaro's demise and fewer and fewer trainers have faith in him. How does an athlete of his stature just sort of lose it overnight? Well, my P4 is down the drain.
