 ex & dime box....4-6-7-8....tri box....4-6-7

Alive with all four in the late DD, but only Grounded Love brings home some moolah. The others are chalk.

Went with Toner's runner out of devotion to the trainer, but surely no lock. Felt Pletcher/JV had to be covered and JV tries to complete the DD + another big day.....jockey in very fine form right now. The bug boy is also pursuing another nice day's outing and rides for Clement, who was vanquished with three entrants in the feature.

I covered Schettino's #8, because I like the sire Ground Storm and Channing Hill fits.
I don't much care for Patti Farro's runner, nor the post. Feel that Eddie Castro opted to ride for her to secure mounts when he crosses the river during the summer. Maybe I'm wrong.

You can make an argument for most of the runners here - these are maiden claimers.

I get a DD with 6-10-12 but I'll expose myself again since I'm not on the bus and liable to be arrested.

ExBx: 6/12

ExBx: 4/6-12

 My God, I hope that kid is okay. Couldn't tell if he clipped heels or the horse broke down. The bug appeared to be trampled.

Dutrow's brother wins. Congrats to Flag and QP....QP neglected to box that triple.
Patti Farro's runner had oomph and Eddie Castro made the right decision as to who to ride for, though he fell short. I was wrong in my assessment.

Now a jock's claim of foul in re: the finish.......stay tuned.

I get the $41.80 DD but Patricia Farro's horse went well and my 3X3 spread was too wide.

All day I catch winners but the small fields and the garbage payoffs have me dog paddling instead of swimming like I used to with powerful strokes. But then again I ain't young no more and the bankroll is limited.

It's garbage racing at Belmont Park, my friends. I saw fields of ten, twelve, and more go off in the Sheepshead years ago when you had a chance to catch something with a winning ticket.

No biggie - my time has flown by and I have had a good trip through 6+ decades. Jesus, even my doctor tells me I could stick around for some more years if I stay off the bus and get rid of my trenchcoat.
