On your tax dollars. How can hard working people who pay a ton of taxes fight back?? I want everyone to have a roof over their head, and a hot meal, but a new house at no cost to them. Unbelievable

City Turns Upscale Building in Crown Heights into Homeless Shelter: http://www.nydailynews.com/real_estate/ ... elter.htmlI read this article this morning over coffee and almost tossed my pancakes. We are running socialist from the top levels of government down to the local level and I am furious. How's Government Motors going to work out? Fifty billions of borrowed dollars pumped in and belly up in no time. This Obummer and the Blind Accident in Albany and Emperor Taxberg represent "change the working man can go broke on".

And today the NY Daily News has a story about hordes of homeless desending on the Brooklyn horror to try to get in on the brand new granite counter tops and marble bathroom fixtures on YOUR dime. The dole pays $90 a day ($2,700 a month) for society's leeches to live free and high on the hog, not counting cash welfare dough, free medical, and food stamps. Homeless Flock to Brooklyn Luxury Condo in Hopes of Scoring Shelter: http://www.nydailynews.com/real_estate/ ... oring.html

If you don't own it, and by that I mean paid for with your hard earned buck, you won't respect it. The place will be trashed within a week.

I thought I'd fire this one up for a rant and a rave in a hurry, DG.
Cost of a bowl of soup at homeless shelter: $0.00 dollars
Having Michelle Obama Serve you your soup: $0.00 dollars
Snapping a picture of a homeless person who is receiving government funded meal while taking a picture of the first lady using his $500 Black Berry cell phone: Priceless

One time not long ago I walked to a neighborhood grocer in bad weather with some coupons and a few bucks to catch some groceries I could walk with.
At the cashier an African princess bought a ton of stuff with her government swipe card before climbing into her Escalade.
I felt proud going home and plowing through the rain on foot as an old fart Marine whose taxes are through the roof.
