Paterson is set to unveil a $6 million plan that would keep the state parks open this summer by tapping into the Environmental Protection fund. The plan would have to be approved by the legislature.

Let's see, the state gives away billions a year to those who are born into multi-generational "welfare entitlements". Billions more go to public housing and "free" healthcare but the state doesn't have 11 million dollars to keep the parks open. Damn, if only parks could vote the straight Dem lefty handout ticket I bet they would get their meagre stipend to stay open.

Pole just another brick in the damn wall. The agenda setting socialists will contrive a way to allow the parks to fall into total disrepair and than via eminent domain build beachfront low income housing kinda like in New Orleans..All this while the future gov and son of former liberal bastard MArio gears up to rewrite the New York Constitution..a must do in the first 10 years of what will be his do nothing administration..

That is why you have a pool in the yard.
