It rained all day and night Monday. It was difficult feeding the cats outside. The best I could do is lay platters of food on the side steps underneath the side door overhang. Some cats did come out of the garage to grab a quick meal before returning to their dry beds.
This morning it was dry and an OK 36 degrees. And yeah, there was a large mob of cats sitting by the side door looking for a good breakfast. And they got one in spades.
