Uncle Joe Bruno still sleeps in his own bed at night after being sentenced to prison and is still enjoying his 6-figure pension.

Big weekend at Joe Bruno Stadium on the Hudson Valley Campus in Troy. Thousands come out weekly for the Baseball games. I think they are the Valley Cats. :o

I'll give you the benefit of your opinion, but why not?

Because the bar is set so low in America. A guy for the Cleveland Browns while driving drunk killed a man. He got 24 days. Vick did 2 yrs for fighting dogs. When are animal lives more important than Peoples. I am not giving him a pass for what he did but tax payers money is better spent on other stuff. Is just my opinion.

I don't see where anyone said "animal lives are more important than peoples". The examples you speak of are all good examples of how sentences vary from case to case and from state to state. Paragallo went to jail and will aways be remembered for his abuse of horses in his charge. He was also banned from ever holding a thoroughbred owners license or taking part in racing ever again. As for tax money being used for confinement, I can think of far greater examples of waste than that. Horses are my life outside of work. Without horses there woundn't be a "Sport of Kings". This man betrayed his sacred trust. He deserved prison time, even though it was for a short period of time.

You're a good man Jack. This sport needs more responsible owners like you :!:
