Sometimes for a feline dinner I lay out chunks of canned chicken along with leftover diced steak or pork chops or other meat. I douse the meat in water for a soup. I lay out platters of wet cat food but the huge stainless steel feed thingy made for huge dogs gets good meat. Garfield doesn't like soup. He blows out a front paw with his claws exposed and clamps down on a chunk of meat. He retracts his claws and has some meat clenched in his paw. He'll drop the chunk of meat on the driveway and eat it. But sometimes he'll put his paw to his mouth and eat like he's using his paw like a fork or spoon. Damndest thing I ever saw a cat do. |
