| Post subject: | The Cats Are Missing Colleen |
The momcat Mister Mittens (don't ask) and her enormous beast son Trouble are sitting beside me by my desk as I write this. They are staring at me. They have been looking for Colleen. We took them off the street in July, 2010. The tom weighs 17 pounds and has zero belly - he's that long and lean and large. They want to sleep with my wife all snuggled up in blankets and comforters with her arm around them but she's not here. Jeez, if I had that deal 40 years ago I might have had ten sons instead of one. I want my girl back from the hospital. Could be Friday. No matter. I will be spending Thanksgiving with my wife at NYU/Langone/Winthrop Hospital. I'll be thrilled that she's still alive and on the road to recovery. I wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all. |
