Wow, the ones coming in now have knocked out the satellite and I can't find the male cats Trouble and Mischief. They've got to be under a bed or a sofa somewhere. The two girls, Shiloh and her mother Mister Mittens are hanging out in the living room in good shape.

Drove on the LIE to work last night and it was at a stand still eastbound from the Clearveiw Expwy all the way back to the Queens Midtown Tunnel. West bound was an absolute breeze. Driving home this morning I took the Tri boro to the Grand Central and all I can say is DAMN!!!! All along the parkway eastbound from Citifield to the Jackie Rob there was nothing but downed trees and limbs that had been swept aside by crews on the overnight. There was so much destruction from those boomers that rolled in last night.

BB, really bad in Flushing. My friend's neighborhood looks like a war zone. It took, she and her sister hours to get home from their work in Manhattan. One of her coworkers was STILL in her car on the Grand Central at 11pm when we were talking last night. Complete gridlock. What a horrific mess for the city.

Forest Hills and Flushing were hammered. I saw those green/dark grey/black clouds rolling in and it was something to see. That storm rolled through NY at 50MPH and lasted about 20 minutes before it moved on. 'Twas like some hurricane strikes I remember from the early '60s, only quicker. Trees are down everywhere this thing was working.
