She gave birth to four kittens next to my front stoop in the first week of July, 2010. It was 100 degrees that day. She was a kitten and I took everybody in. Two kittens got adopted and the wife and I thought we would keep her and her son Trouble. The runt female had to go and now after 8 years and 11 months we still can't get Shiloh the Sweet Babycakes adopted. The wife and I are beginning to think that Shiloh will never catch a "forever home" so we keep feeding her, brushing her, providing great places to sleep for her and loving her until we can get rid of her.
This afternoon while I was fiddledicking with the ponies at Belmont Park up in the man cave the momcat Mister Mittens showed up, jumped upon my bed and flopped. She had had a good breakfast and a great lunch. She doesn't cry out much anymore by the front door to get back out on the street.
