With the nights becoming more chilly I laid out the white woolen blanket upon my bed that the bride gave me a few years ago. The momcat Mister Mittens likes it a lot. Last night she slept with me tucked into my hip and when I threw a piece of it over her she sighed happily. This afternoon while I was befuddled by the races at Belmont Park the momcat curled up on that blanket and was even snoring.
