I buy good stuff - Purina, 9-Lives, Friskies etc.
And then you screw up and serve premium Whiskas stuff out of a packet instead of a can - white fish, cod, Northern Pacific tuna, Alaskan King Crab, and other fish that Jacques Cousteau couldn't find. The cats love it. Or cans of imported sardines in olive oil - the cats love it.
Then you lay out the "good stuff" and the cats think you are feeding them $hit and poison all in the same feed dish.
Those feline bastards should try opening cans of C-rations.

Now that the bride is home the cats are crying to her for "premium food" while their feed dishes are loaded with good stuff.
The wife has told me that I have spoiled them.
I mixed up the sardines and the premium stuff into the "good stuff".
Well, the imported sardines are gone and so is the premium stuff. The "good stuff" has been cherry-picked by sensitive feline palates, small cat mouths and noses that can sniff the best chow out of any obstacle.

my cat is the same way....try to feed the 17 year old something for her old system and she leaves it, wanting the crap she is used to.

Maybe I can eat the cat food they won't touch and perhaps hire a French chef for them.

All of 'em can tell time, too. Zo sits by the pantry every afternoon, holding vigil, beginning around 4:30pm, knowing her dinner hour is at 5.

They all flip me the middle claw if the cuisine isn't just right at meal time.
And yet they'll nibble the kibble all day and night as snack food. That stuff is like like eating pebbles but they like it.

Wow, we always knew Chaos was a spunky sociable creature and we're so happy that he has adjusted well to his new home with Bremsler. He and his sister Shiloh were tough to tell apart for a while.

And they don't like fresh-cooked ham and eggs either because pigs and chickens don't swim with the tuna and cod.
