We trade at ShopRite and for Easter easily spent more than $400 there in the preceding month and qualified for a free ham. It was a ten-pounder (the smallest one available) and way too big for this empty nest.
The last three pounds went outside Monday night all warmed up and diced up for the feral cats. No cat food - just platters of diced ham. Jeez, was I popular. Even Nasty Mom behaved herself while enjoying a great meal.

Down here at the Winn Dixie and the Albertsons they offer points toward gasoline savings, which is a MUCH better deal for me. For Thanksgiving and Christmas, they have a deal where you get your ham or turkey for $5 when you spend $30. No double coupons, either.
For a party of two, this is a much better deal. Shop Rite can keep their 'free' stuff. I saved almost $400 in gas last year.
