Barbara asked me about how the feral cats that weren't trapped were doing and I gave her an update. Barbara also asked me about how the TNR'ed cats were doing and she was happy to learn that they were A-OK. She told me that she would be calling me next week and returning to my house to trap some more cats.
The trapped cats catch a physical, neutering, vaccinations and an "ear clip" for I.D. via cattrapper.org in multiples with my Nassau County government while as a taxpayer I would need to lay out $80.00 (refundable) for a single trap rental and bring cats into the shelter one at a time for TNR.
Last week when she was here I told Barbara that I had a check ready to be written for her but she said to me, "Not yet, I need to be more successful." The wife was going for half a grand on the check that has not been written yet.
Some people are just too good to be true but now and again you might run into one.
